YASA AFRICA had the privilege of co-project managing the Tshwane Music Conference and Festival 2016 supported by The City of Tshwane, Pioneer Dj Institute, Mzansi Magic, ABI and Penord Ricard. This important initiative seeks to fly the flag for South African talent within the music industry by showcasing local talent, imparting knowledge and skills to emerging and aspiring musicians and opening doors for entrepreneurial and career opportunities within music and entertainment industry, both locally and internationally. The music conference and festival were both astonishingly successful. We provided many jobs and increased economic activity within The City Tshwane by procuring services from local business and freelancers throughout the execution of the project; awarded Disco Jockey and Music Production bursaries from Pioneer Dj Institute; celebrated South African talent and the music industry; proudly increased local consumption and brought much enjoyment to families and music lovers. And we say YASA AFRICA!
